What's live today: Simplify1 on the web, iPhone and Android next

Live now: the web app

Simplify1 runs today in your browser at simplify1.org/app. Sign in with Google or with a six-digit code sent to your email. There are no passwords to create or forget.

In the web app you can build your list from the set categories and add one of your own, tick your day and see your grade, and follow your streak, trend, level and rank. You can add friends, join groups, see leaderboards, ask a friend to be your accountability partner, challenge a friend to a one-on-one competition, and use the coach. The web app is free today.

Getting started takes a minute

1. Open simplify1.org/app and sign in.
2. Pick the items that make a good day for you. Keep the first list short; you can add more any time.
3. Tick what you have already done today and watch the ring.
4. Come back this evening and read the letter.

That is it. Nothing to install, and nothing to pay.

What needs a phone

Three things only make sense on a phone, so they arrive with the apps:

• Ghost, the private, encrypted part of your list. Its key lives in the phone's secure storage. How Ghost encryption works.
• Reminders: the morning briefing, the evening grade, the mid-day nudge and reminders for particular items.
• Connected apps: opening a Bible, fitness or reading app through Simplify1 to count toward an item.

Next: iPhone and Android

The iPhone and Android apps are being tested now. They will come to the App Store and Google Play at launch, and we will say so here when they do. Your account is the same everywhere, so what you start on the web carries over to your phone. On iPhone you will also be able to sign in with Apple.

Premium

Premium is $9.99 a month, or $99.99 a year, which works out to $8.33 a month and saves 17%. It adds Ghost, setting your own weights, creating groups, and no limits on your own categories, connected apps and friends. You will be able to buy it in the iPhone and Android apps at launch, through the App Store and Google Play. Until then, the web app is free. The details are on our pricing page.

For employers

Companies can sign an agreement with us now. When a company signs up, anyone who signs in with its email domain gets everything in Premium at no cost to them for as long as the agreement runs. They join the company's group and see a Work side with company goals and recognition. Simplify1 for employers.

What we will not do

We will not sell your data. We will not show anyone your Ghost items, including ourselves. And we will not invent a launch date we can't keep: when the apps are in the stores, this page will say so.
