The honest trade-off
Lose your phone and your phrase, and it's gone.
Set a recovery phrase and a locked copy of your key is stored so a new phone can restore Ghost. We hold nothing that can open it. That's the design, not a limitation.
A subpoena on our servers?
Yields ciphertext. That's all that exists outside your phone.
Does Ghost count toward my grade?
Your own grade, yes. Your public score, never.
Can I export Ghost entries?
Not from us — we only hold the encrypted form, which we can't open.
